On June 22 a report was received of a subject attempting to fill an altered prescription at a local drug store. Two subjects were identified. The case will be presented to a Grand Jury for investigation.


On July 9 a report was receive of the theft of a firearm from a residence on Mt. Pleasant Road. The owner reported that several people had been in the residence over the past few days. The firearm was a Highpoint semi-automatic handgun, 9mm, black in color, with night sights. No serial number was available.


On July 11 a report was received of the theft of tools from the yard and a boat at a residence on A. Duncan Road. The theft is believed to have occurred between 10:00 and 19:00 on the 9th. A possible suspect has been identified.


On July 13 a report was received of a vehicle fire at a residence on Winding Ridge Road. Two subjects wearing camouflage jackets were seen entering a black car and a white pick up truck which immediately left the residence. The vehicles were seen heading south on KY 1651.


On July 15 a report was receive of a runaway juvenile. The subjects information was entered into the NCIC system.


On July 17 a report was received of vandalism to a vehicle parked at a residence on KY 896. The rear glass of the vehicle had been broken out with a brick.


On July 17 a report was received of a burglary to a residence on Lane Road. Taken were a stereo and DVD's. At the same time a neighbor reported the theft of a red push mower from outside his residence.
