On July 25 a report was received of a burglary to a residence on Miller Way. Perpetrators entered the residence by forcing open the back door. Taken was a 26 inch Vizio LCD TV, model M260VA, serial LTMPGGAL1401906 and a 17 inch flat screen TV.


On July 25 a report was received of a burglary to a another residence on Miller Way. The burglary occurred between 12:30 and 18:00 that date. Entry to the residence was made by forcing open the back door. Taken was a Smith and Wesson .38 special, Model 19, with a 4 inch barrel in a hard plastic paddle holster, two jewelry boxes with various jewelry in them, two jars with approximately $150 in change, and a Moultry trail camera which has the victims name and initials in permanent marker on it.


On July 27 a report was received of the theft of a motorcycle from the front yard of a residence on Flynn Road. The theft occurred between the 22nd and 23rd. The motorcycle is a 2007 Honda model CRF80F, red in color. The VIN is JH2HE01037K607695. The vehicle information was entered into the NCIC system.


On July 27 a report was received of vandalism to an RTEC bus parked at the Whitley City 1st Baptist Church. The window on the back door had been broken out with some kind of blunt object. The vandalism occurred between 18:00 on the 26th and 05:50 on the 27th.
