On June 9 at approximately 20:45 Constables Donald Daugherty and David Kilby discovered 31 marijuana plants growing behind a residence when attempting to serve papers. The plants were confiscated and samples were sent to the lab for confirmation. A suspect was identified. The case is open and will be presented to the Grand Jury when the lab results are received.

On June 10 at approximately 18:00 two subjects were taken into custody during a routine traffic stop after officers discovered marijuana to be in possession of both subjects. Both suspects were charged with possession of marijuana. This case was cleared by arrest.

On June 12 a subject reported the theft of two utility trailers from Corders Junk Yard. The trailers were being stored at the junk yard. One trailer is a 6’4” by 12’ ATV trailer, black in color, single axle, side and rear loading, and has the word Rice on the tongue. VIN is 4RWUS12156N033568. The other trailer is 8’6” by 20’, black in color, dual axle, with the word Rice on the tongue. VIN is 4RWUD20286N033527. The trailers were entered into NCIC as stolen. A case is open and under investigation.

On June 12 a resident of Roundtop Road reported that on May 31 he had allowed a person into his residence to use the phone and restroom. After the person left he found that a check had been stolen. The check was cashed on June 10. A suspect has been identified and the case is open and under investigation.
