On June 23 an employee of Sandstone Partners reported a Burglary at the apartment building that was the old Whitley City Elementary. Subject reported that on June 21 perpetrators entered the building through a window and cut electrical wiring. A case was opened and is under investigation.

An employee of Clay Pipeline reported that several items were missing from their material storage area on Highway 90 near the Whitley County line. Items missing were:

  • Folding boxes (2)
  • Stanley socket set
  • Red air hose
  • Wrench set
  • Miller welding rods (2)
  • Gas jugs

A case was opened and is under investigation.

On June 25 a resident of West Highway 92 reported a Burglary Not in Progress at their residence. Victim reported that sometime on the preceding date someone had kicked in the back door of their residence and stolen a jewelry box. The box contained rings, bracelets, wedding bands, etc. A case was opened and is under investigation.
