New Cruiser
On Friday, March 7, Sheriff Skinner got a surprise. The people of Whitley County presented him with a ready to roll Tahoe cruiser. Whitley County Judge Executive Pat White commented that McCreary County’s drug issue was their drug issue. The Whitley County Sheriff’s Office provided the Tahoe, which was in need of a lot of work. The Williamsburg Police Department donated lights and siren. Area businesses provided body work, paint, graphics, and thousands of dollars worth of material and accessories. This included custom made seat covers. The Vo-Ag students of Whitley County High School, under the direction of teacher Glen Croley, did a lot of the work on the vehicle. This  vehicle is now the latest weapon in the war on drugs being waged in McCreary County.
